Hello, and welcome, honey!

My name is Joshua Hartley and I am owner and founder of Weddings from the Hart located in Columbus, OH. Here’s the skinny: Weddings from the Hart began very organically back in 2012. I was in college and had been volunteering in the cafe at my former church for years. I was approached by a friend about helping manage the food at her friend’s daughter’s wedding. From there, the rest is history! I have produced more than 60+ weddings and events since then – all by referral.

In addition to being owner and founder of Weddings from the Hart, I am currently Relationship Manager of PRIDE Council at United Way of Central Ohio for all things LGBTQ-related: a mixture of fundraising, volunteer management, event planning and relationship-building.

Also, I am passionate about investing in the community because of those that have invested in me. I have volunteered more than 800 hours of community service since 2013. Through my experiences, I have devoted my heart and time in encouraging others to give back to the communities and organizations in which they live, work, worship and volunteer.

At my core, I am an open book, a curious person, an adventurist and a good listener. This has helped me be attune to details, step outside the box and build relationships. I have used those attributes through my previous experience in strategizing and producing 50+ weddings and events, developing organization-wide communication and executing entire internal campaigns.

Wedding and event planning has become one of my life passions. For me, it’s all about creating memorable events that result in personal experiences for all attendees.

I’m full of ideas and sass. So…connect with me and lets get planning your wedding or next event.

PS – I forgot to mention that in January 2017 a wedding planner’s dream came true: I met David Tutera, American celebrity wedding planner, bridal fashion designer, designer, author, professional speaker, and host of WE tv’s show, My Fair Wedding with David Tutera and David Tutera’s CELEBrations.
